Nothing Stays What It Was - Poetry

A condor takes human form, then returns to the sky. A white mouse discovers a black cat within herself. An old skin is shed. A buried self begins to flutter and unfold. A woman reclaims the body she once abandoned. A tree is stripped to its roots, and still remains.

Inspired by the theme of metamorphosis, Nothing Stays What It Was brings together poems exploring the many ways we can change, evolve, disappear, and become something new.
